Which sample should I ask for?
Reference bag: check material and fit; an available reference may not match your final colour, size or print.
Artwork proof: check print size, placement and spelling. A screen preview does not confirm the physical colour or construction.
Pre-production sample: review the agreed bag and artwork together. Confirm exactly what it represents before approving production.
Share the date the bags must arrive and your destination postcode. Sample preparation, production after specification/artwork approval and agreed payment, and international transit are scheduled separately. Dispatch and expected arrival are confirmed in your quotation.
How much usable height is below the closing flap?
The listed external height does not describe the clear space below the folded adhesive flap. Measure your closed containers and complete stack, including lids and wrapping. Pack the sample, fold the flap along its intended line and check that it reaches the mating surface without pressing against the contents. Record the stack height and closure position together, using the offered size code so the review can be repeated.
What should the sample confirm?
Compare the sample opening, flap length, adhesive position and loop-handle attachments with your packing arrangement. Inspect the lining and its joins before loading the intended containers. Close the flap with the full set inside and photograph its position from the front and side. Record any layer thickness stated in the proposal beside the sample reference. Evaluate temperature requirements against evidence for that finished assembly and packing method.
Is a large print included in the logo guide?
The logo reference describes one ink colour on one side; your artwork dimensions still belong in the brief. Mark the intended print width, height and position on a bag drawing, including the flap fold and handle attachments. Compare the artwork with the sample both open and closed. List additional colours, a second printed side or broad panel coverage separately so the proposed decoration matches the layout being reviewed.
How can I compare the self-seal sizes without losing flap clearance?
Compare S at 21 x 26 x 11 cm, M at 24 x 24 x 15 cm, L at 26 x 26 x 17 cm and XL at 30 x 30 x 20 cm externally. These sizes change depth as well as height. Use the same container stack in each candidate and close the adhesive flap. Record which size clears the lids while allowing the flap to meet its intended sealing position.
