Which sample should I ask for?
Reference bag: check material and fit; an available reference may not match your final colour, size or print.
Artwork proof: check print size, placement and spelling. A screen preview does not confirm the physical colour or construction.
Pre-production sample: review the agreed bag and artwork together. Confirm exactly what it represents before approving production.
Share the date the bags must arrive and your destination postcode. Sample preparation, production after specification/artwork approval and agreed payment, and international transit are scheduled separately. Dispatch and expected arrival are confirmed in your quotation.
Is there one standard supermarket bag size?
Use the listed size code and dimensions rather than assuming a single supermarket standard. US-12 is 12 x 13 x 8 inches, US-13 is 13 x 15 x 10 inches, and AU-33 is 33.2 x 35 x 22 cm, all in width x height x depth order. Load the same grocery packing set into each candidate sample and compare the base, mouth and handle access with the full contents inside.
Is a rigid base board or reinforced handle included?
A rigid base board and extra handle reinforcement are separate specification items. Specify a removable board, full-length handles or another reinforcement when needed, with the material and construction identified separately in the quote. Inspect insert corners and handle joins on the corresponding sample, both empty and packed. Keep the packing list and measured contents weight with that review; the listed grocery dimensions and fabric weights do not establish a tested carrying-load rating.
Can the same tote be supplied plain or with our store logo?
Yes. Compare the same size code, fabric-weight reference and quantity as plain stock and with a one-colour logo on one side. Send the intended print dimensions and destination postcode. Extra sides, base boards, artwork or setup, samples and freight are separate quotation items. Review the printed sample between the gusset folds and handle attachments. Keep any requested insert or reinforcement in both specifications so the comparison retains the same bag construction.
How do I compare the inch-based grocery sizes with AU-33?
Convert all three dimensions before comparing footprints. US-12 at 12 x 13 x 8 inches is 30.48 x 33.02 x 20.32 cm; US-13 at 13 x 15 x 10 inches is 33.02 x 38.10 x 25.40 cm. AU-33 is listed directly as 33.2 x 35 x 22 cm. All follow width x height x depth. Keep the original size code beside each conversion and test the same grocery set in the candidate samples.
