Which sample should I ask for?
Reference bag: check material and fit; an available reference may not match your final colour, size or print.
Artwork proof: check print size, placement and spelling. A screen preview does not confirm the physical colour or construction.
Pre-production sample: review the agreed bag and artwork together. Confirm exactly what it represents before approving production.
Share the date the bags must arrive and your destination postcode. Sample preparation, production after specification/artwork approval and agreed payment, and international transit are scheduled separately. Dispatch and expected arrival are confirmed in your quotation.
Should I choose the flat or gusseted reference?
The FLAT and STD references both have a 38 x 42 cm body. FLAT has no depth gusset, while STD lists 10 cm depth. Measure your thickest packed item and test its entry through the mouth before comparing the base. Load the same contents in each sample and photograph the side profile. Include any folder, box or wrapping used in the trial, because those items change the packed shape.
Are the handles suitable for shoulder carrying?
State whether the tote will be carried by hand or over the shoulder, then review the offered handle dimensions on the sample. Body height excludes the separate handles. Measure handle width and the drop from the top edge to the inside of the loop, recording the method on your photograph. Trial the packed bag with the intended clothing and check both shoulder access and hand clearance around the opening.
Can I buy plain bags and print them locally?
Yes. Request plain stock and ask your local printer to approve a material sample before decorating the order. Printing method, heat, ink and coverage requirements vary. Send the artwork width, height and position, then inspect a printed trial for legibility around seams and handle attachments. The botanical photograph shows an optional design concept; the plain stock is supplied without that decoration. Keep the approved material sample with your printer's artwork record.
Does the 42 cm tote height include its loop handles?
No. The 38 x 42 cm reference describes the tote body; the separate loop handles are excluded from that height. STD adds a 10 cm depth gusset and FLAT has no depth gusset. For a shoulder-carry brief, ask for handle length, width, drop and attachment alongside the selected body code. A 42 cm body measurement alone cannot establish whether the filled tote passes over a shoulder or a coat sleeve.
