Buyer planning guide
What pre-dispatch photos should I request for a kitchen equipment order?
Prepare a photo request tied to equipment positions, model identification, ordered accessories and package marks, then record questions before the receiving handover.

How do I tie a photo request to the equipment actually ordered?
Use the current equipment schedule to create a photo list with one reference for each order line. Include the selected model, configuration, quantity and destination site. Ask for the photographs to identify those references so a cabinet picture can be connected to a specific item. For several identical units, ask how the photo set distinguishes individual units and which photographs cover the complete group.
Attach the selected order acknowledgement and drawing references to the request. A useful example is a preparation counter ordered with a particular pan arrangement: ask for an overall view and a view showing that arrangement, both tied to the same equipment position. A showroom picture helps explain appearance but does not identify the unit being prepared for your order. Record whether a returned image shows the actual equipment, a reference model or a separate accessory.
Which overall views and identification details should I request?
Request an overall view of each equipment type, followed by the views needed to see its ordered configuration. For an upright cabinet, the front and accessible interior can show the door arrangement and supplied shelves. For a preparation counter, ask for the top arrangement and the accessories listed on its order line. Use the selected drawing to name the details you want photographed rather than asking for every possible angle.
Ask for a readable equipment identification label and connect its model and unit identification to the same photo reference. Record a label that cannot be read as a missing detail, then request a closer image. Compare the label with the written equipment documents; return any difference as a question about that unit. A controller display in an image records what was visible at that moment. It does not establish an operating range or demonstrate performance under your intended use.
How can photos help check shelves, pans and other ordered accessories?
Copy the accessory descriptions and quantities from the selected order into the photo list. Ask the supplier to show loose accessories together with their equipment reference and to identify accessories already fitted inside a cabinet. For separately packed items, ask which package contains them. Keep the equipment position, accessory description and package reference connected so the receiving team can find the correct carton.
Count only what is clearly visible in each image. If shelves overlap or a sealed box hides its contents, ask for an itemized packing reference or a clearer view. Describe the gap precisely: for example, the photograph shows the cabinet interior but not the separately packed shelf supports listed on that order line. Check the written response against the accessory schedule. Do not turn a partial photograph into a recorded complete count; retain the unanswered entry until the supplied evidence addresses it.
What packing photos are useful for the receiving team?
Ask for an exterior view of each package and a readable view of its shipping mark or package identifier. Match those identifiers to the packing list and equipment positions. Where one order line is split across packages, request a mapping that shows the main unit and its separate accessories. For a project serving several kitchens, include the destination reference used in the agreed packing instructions.
If photos are being requested before packing, specify which equipment details you want recorded before they are covered. This lets the supplier explain which views can be supplied at each stage. Keep the equipment images and closed-package images in the same order record. A photograph can document visible packing condition and markings; it does not establish the protective performance of the packaging or replace the packing list. Ask any question about packing construction against the written packing specification.
What should I do when a photograph appears to show a discrepancy?
Create one question for each apparent difference. Identify the equipment position, image filename, relevant area of the photograph and the document being compared. State the observation directly: the order lists a particular accessory, but the returned image does not show it. Ask whether it is packed separately, omitted from the photograph or different from the selected configuration. This keeps an image interpretation separate from the supplier's explanation.
Save the original photograph and attach any annotated copy as a separate file. Ask for a written answer and a replacement or additional image where needed. If the response proposes a configuration change, connect it to the specification-change process and retain the revised document reference. Record who reviewed the response and which question it resolves. Share unresolved entries with the person handling the order so a photo folder is not mistaken for a completed review.
How should I hand the photo set over to the receiving team?
Build a simple index with the equipment position, unit identification where supplied, package identifier, image filenames and the observation each image supports. Add the date received and links to the relevant packing list, order acknowledgement and supplier responses. Distinguish original photographs from annotated copies so the receiving team can return to the source image.
Ask the receiving team to use the package references when recording what arrives. A pre-dispatch image is a record from an earlier stage; record the arrival condition separately and link the two records when investigating a difference. If an identification label, accessory or package mark remains unreadable, keep that limitation beside the affected entry. Hand over the question list with the photographs, including answers already received. A short indexed set is easier to use than an unlabelled collection of images forwarded across several messages.
What should I send JINYU with a pre-dispatch photo request?
Send JINYU, Shaanxi Jinyu Kitchenware Co., Ltd. (陕西金宇厨具有限公司), your order reference, current equipment schedule and selected drawing revisions. List the requested views against each equipment position: overall unit, readable identification, ordered accessories and package markings. Include the accessory schedule and packing references already agreed for the order, plus the destination allocation for projects involving more than one site.
Name the person or team who will review the returned set. If you are following up on photographs already received, attach their filenames and the precise unanswered questions instead of repeating the entire request. Ask which requested views can be supplied and how the images will be mapped to the equipment and packages. Read the returned set against your list, record the answers and pass the indexed evidence to the receiving team.
