Buyer planning guide

Which two-tier cake display fits a 1500 mm counter space?

Compare the listed 1500 mm square-glass model with narrower curved displays, then plan counter depth, access and the electrical configuration for your café.

Is there a listed 1500 mm curved two-tier cake display?

The listed 1500 mm option is the square-glass JY-CD1500S2-R. JINYU's published two-tier range has curved-glass models in 900, 1000, 1200 and 1800 mm widths, with no curved 1500 mm model listed. The square-glass widths are 900, 1000, 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm. For a curved front within a 1500 mm opening, start by comparing the narrower curved models and request a drawing for your preferred size.

Measure the opening independently of the cabinet dimensions. Include counter edges, projecting trim and any other surfaces that define the available space. Send those measurements to JINYU so the cabinet body and its installation requirements can be shown together on a dimensioned drawing. This lets you assess whether the selected model fits the actual opening.

Give the full model code in your inquiry and name the glass profile. For example, specifying JY-CD1500S2-R identifies the square 1500 mm cabinet and gives the supplier a precise starting point for the quotation.

Which dimensions should I put on the café plan?

Put the cabinet's full external dimensions on the plan, in width × depth × height order. JY-CD1500S2-R measures 1500 × 730 × 1200 mm; the curved JY-CD1200C2-R measures 1200 × 730 × 1200 mm. All listed two-tier models have a depth of 730 mm and a height of 1200 mm, so width is the dimension that changes in this comparison.

On the floor plan, draw the width along the counter frontage and the depth from the customer-facing front toward the operator. Add an elevation showing the floor, adjoining counters and the cabinet's 1200 mm overall height. This makes the cabinet's relationship to the surrounding furniture clear to the fit-out team.

Mark nearby walls, columns, skirting and equipment on the same drawing. Use the selected model's installation drawing to add ventilation space, service access and door movement separately from the cabinet outline. With these details labelled, the team can check both the equipment's position and the space needed to use and service it.

What changes if I choose the 1200 mm curved model?

Choosing JY-CD1200C2-R reduces the published body width by 300 mm compared with JY-CD1500S2-R. Within a 1500 mm frontage, that leaves a total width difference of 300 mm to account for in the layout. Draw the curved cabinet in its intended position and label the remaining space on either side. Compare a centred position with one aligned to a counter edge to see how each affects the staff's working area.

Include any planned infill, adjoining shelf or counter return in that drawing. Review the complete arrangement against the cabinet's installation and access details before deciding how to use the remaining width.

For the display layout, compare both models using the same product sizes. Send the dimensions of your cake boards, trays and packaged desserts, and request each model's internal shelf arrangement and opening dimensions. These details let you work out product positions and replenishment access; the 300 mm difference in external width alone does not establish usable shelf length or cake capacity.

How should I compare curved and square glass in the shop?

Compare the two glass profiles from the places where customers will actually see the display: the entrance, ordering point and collection point. Mark each cabinet's footprint in the proposed position, then photograph the view from those locations. Identify the products and labels you want visible first, and include nearby windows, pendant lights and signs in the photographs.

Use a model-specific side elevation or photograph to compare the front profiles and shelf positions. Pair it with the shop plan so you can see how the cabinet relates to an adjoining counter and the customer's line of sight.

During a demonstration, place representative products and labels in the intended display positions. Check the customer view, then have staff follow the proposed replenishment route. Record concrete observations, such as a counter edge crossing a label, a sign obscuring a product or a tray blocking access to another item. Label each photograph with the model code so the supplier can respond to the exact arrangement you reviewed.

Does the wider model change the electrical options?

For each listed two-tier model under 1800 mm wide, the table shows two electrical options: ETL at 120V / 60Hz and CE at 220-240V / 50Hz. These include JY-CD1500S2-R and JY-CD1200C2-R. The 1800 mm curved and square models are CE-only at 220-240V / 50Hz. Include the electrical configuration alongside width and glass profile when comparing the cabinets.

For the 1500 mm square model or the 1200 mm curved model, give JINYU the destination country and the site's voltage and frequency. Request the electrical specification and plug information for the configuration offered in the quotation. Attach these details to the model code and drawing for your installer's review.

If the supplier sends a document covering several widths, identify the row for the proposed cabinet and ask for the corresponding configuration documents. Have the installer check the connection and equipment position against the site plan. Request electrical load information with the specification, since the external dimensions do not provide it.

What should I send with the final model inquiry?

Send Shaanxi Jinyu Kitchenware Co., Ltd. (陕西金宇厨具有限公司) a measured opening, a shop plan and photographs showing the customer and staff sides of the proposed position. Name the models you are comparing: JY-CD1500S2-R for the 1500 mm square-glass cabinet and JY-CD1200C2-R for the 1200 mm curved-glass cabinet. Explain your preferred glass profile and the layout issue you need to resolve, such as frontage width or the relationship to an adjoining counter.

Add product, tray and cake-board dimensions, along with the intended replenishment route. Include the destination, requested quantity and site electrical information. Request external and internal drawings for the proposed model, details of access and the electrical configuration offered.

Check the quotation's model code and dimensions against your shop drawing when it arrives. Update the plan if the proposed width, glass profile or electrical version changes. Keep the agreed drawing revision with the quotation so the supplier and fit-out team work from the same cabinet specification.
