Buyer planning guide
Can two stacked gift boxes fit in one custom canvas tote?
Measure two wrapped gift boxes as a complete stack, then review the separator, base, opening, closure and handle clearance on a custom canvas tote sample.

Can two stacked gift boxes fit in one custom canvas tote?
Review the complete stack inside the proposed tote, including the wrapping, separator and carrying position. Two boxes that fit separately can need a different bag when stacked: the upper box raises the packed height, while the lower box still determines where the base must open. Identify which box sits underneath and whether both travel with their lids facing upward.
Lay out the actual packages before requesting a size. Include sleeves, bows and any protective sheet between the boxes. Photograph the arrangement from the front and side with each box labelled. State whether the customer receives both together or needs to remove the upper gift while carrying the lower one.
Ask JINYU to show this arrangement on the requested canvas tote drawing. The floral tote photograph illustrates exterior styling; its printed face does not establish the internal clearance of your proposed bag. Use the labelled physical sample to decide whether the requested stack fits.
Which measurements describe the boxes and the finished tote?
Measure the outside length, width and height of each closed, wrapped box. Include protruding lid edges and decorations in the measurements that affect insertion. Record the stack height with the actual separator in place. Adding the two box heights alone leaves out that separator and any wrapping gathered between them.
Draw a top view showing whether the upper box covers the lower lid or sits within its outline. Mark any overhang. Draw a side view with the complete packed height, then identify which face will align with the tote front. This separates a tall stack from two packages placed side by side.
On the tote drawing, distinguish finished body width and height from base depth, usable interior space and opening size. Show the lining, bottom insert and proposed closure. Measure the empty sample from the same named edges. Keep those dimensions beside the box measurements so a flat panel width is never mistaken for the space available across an opened base.
How do I test insertion and removal without catching the lids?
Place the lower box into the empty tote in its planned orientation. Check that it reaches the base without turning a lid edge under the lining. Add the separator and upper box using the intended packing sequence. Photograph the stack before bringing the handles together or closing the mouth.
Inspect the points where the boxes meet the bag: lower corners, upper lid edges, lining folds and any pocket stitching inside the body. Record whether a bow needs repositioning, a handle must be held aside or the mouth must be opened with both hands. These observations identify the actual packing steps a shop assistant will perform.
Remove the upper box first, then the separator and lower box. Repeat using the sequence planned for the recipient. If a box enters only when tilted, show that angle and what happens to its contents. Compare any revised opening with the same boxes rather than changing the packaging during the comparison.
What should I check between the boxes and beneath the stack?
Use the separator proposed for the project. Record its material, outline and thickness from the actual item, including tabs or folded edges. Place it between the boxes and photograph whether it sits flat, covers a lid decoration or projects beyond the lower box. A separator changes the contact surface as well as the total stack height.
Inspect the lower box after the complete stack has been packed. Look for a bowed lid, displaced ribbon or a corner pressing against a seam. Identify the location in a photograph. Keep these observations with the package description so a change in box construction does not get attributed to the tote.
If the proposed tote includes a removable base board, record that board separately from the separator. Show where each part sits and whether the lower box rests across the board or extends beyond it. Keep their identifiers on the drawing. Their dimensions and positions belong to different parts of the packing arrangement.
Will the stacked boxes leave room for the closure and handles?
Bring the handles together with both boxes seated. Observe whether the upper lid pushes them apart, whether the tote mouth draws inward and whether a hanging handle crosses the decoration. Photograph the top of the stack with the handles resting, then raised for carrying. Record the exposed part of the upper box relative to the finished mouth.
For a proposed zipper, follow the slider across the complete opening and observe the space above the lid. For a magnetic snap, show where the two halves meet with the stack inside. Identify any point where fastening the closure presses on the upper package. Use the actual closure shown on the sample drawing.
Lift the tote by both handles, set it down, then retrieve the upper box. Repeat over the shoulder if that carrying position is requested. Note changes in the box positions, handle reach and access to an interior pocket. Keep the same wrapping and separator throughout this sequence.
What should I send JINYU after reviewing the sample?
Prepare one labelled record containing the box dimensions, stack photographs, packing sequence and tote drawing revision. Identify the lower box, upper box, separator and base board individually. Add the finished bag measurements and photographs of the opening, closed mouth and carried arrangement so the requested size can be read alongside its intended contents.
State each requested change beside the affected view. A taller body, wider opening or different handle attachment addresses a different part of the trial. For a revised sample, repeat the same packing and retrieval sequence, keeping the original boxes and wrapping. Place the earlier and revised measurements together, with both sample identifiers visible.
Send the record, artwork file, project quantity and destination to Shaanxi Jinyu Kitchenware Co., Ltd. (陕西金宇厨具有限公司). Ask JINYU to restate the proposed body size, base construction, handle arrangement and closure on the revised drawing. Retain the accepted sample identifier with that written specification.
