Buyer planning guide

How do I check side-gusset fit in a stock non-woven shopper?

Compare stock shopper dimensions with wrapped contents, then record side-fold opening, box-corner clearance and handle position during a counter packing trial.

What should I pack when checking a stock shopper side gusset?

Use the complete set that will leave your counter: the closed box, tissue, ribbon, card and any second item. Measure the group at its widest, tallest and thickest points. Include projecting lids and ribbon loops. Photograph the arrangement beside a ruler and give it a packing reference so another person can repeat the same trial.

Weigh the contents and record that figure with the packing list. It describes the trial contents; it does not establish a bag carrying rating. Keep the contents unchanged while comparing stock samples so differences in side shape come from the bag and packing arrangement being reviewed.

For small-quantity non-woven bag orders, JINYU works with available stock options. Send the packed dimensions first and ask which stock references can be offered. The sample label should identify the bag code and variant as well as the contents reference. A photograph of a gusseted shopper alone cannot identify usable space around your particular box.

Which published bag dimensions should I compare with the packed set?

Two published starting points are JY-PL-01 STD at 38 × 42 × 10 cm and JY-PL-02 STD at 40 × 35 × 15 cm. These are outside width × height × depth, excluding handles. The second reference has a wider and deeper outside outline; the first has a taller body. Compare all three figures with your wrapped set.

Write the variant beside each measurement. JY-PL-01 also has a FLAT variant, so a model code without its variant can leave the intended depth unclear. Ask the reply to identify the available stock size and construction rather than transferring dimensions from a similar-looking photograph.

Use those outside figures to select samples. Then measure and photograph the actual opening and the packed base. Seams, folded material and the way the mouth gathers belong in the physical comparison. Keep the catalogue dimensions in one column and observations from the labelled sample in another, so a measured opening is traceable to the bag you handled.

How do I see whether the side folds open around the box?

Spread the empty shopper on the counter and open each side fold by hand. Photograph the left and right sides before loading. Place the wrapped box inside in the intended orientation, keeping the tissue and card in their named positions. Watch the opening as the widest part passes through, then look at the base after the box settles.

Record where fabric remains folded against a box corner, where a seam presses against wrapping and whether the box sits level. Take side and overhead photographs with the same sample label visible. A close view of the contact point is more useful than a general note that the bag feels tight.

If turning the box changes the fit, label the two orientations separately. Keep the wrapping intact for both trials and compare loading, seated position and removal. Choose a packing arrangement staff can reproduce without having to push an unlabelled corner into place. Put the selected orientation on the packing sheet.

What changes when I gather the handles and hand over the bag?

Bring both handles together as they will be held at the counter. Observe whether the upper side folds move inward against the box or card. Check the grip space above the contents and whether a ribbon loop rises into that space. Photograph the gathered handles from the front and side before changing the packing arrangement.

Using the intended contents, observe a normal handover and set-down. Record the bag reference, packing orientation and what moved. A corner may settle into a fold after lifting even when the initial counter view looked clear. Compare the side profile before and after the same movement in each candidate sample.

Describe the observed action precisely: for example, the card catches the right side fold during removal, or the tissue moves above the box lid when the loops meet. These observations help explain fit. They do not replace a separate discussion of the offered bag's documented carrying information for your intended use.

How should I compare two stock sizes or a changed gift set?

Label the samples A and B with their full stock codes and variants. Repeat the same loading order, box orientation, handle gathering and removal in each one. Keep photographs at the same angle and camera distance. Record which side fold touches the contents and whether staff need to rearrange the wrapping during handover.

Compare the whole sequence rather than selecting the bag with the neatest empty shape. A deeper outline may leave more space beside the box but still needs an opening and handle arrangement that suits the complete set. Write the practical difference beside the relevant photograph so the selection can be explained to counter staff.

When the gift set changes, create a new packing reference. A thicker lid, additional pouch or new tissue fold changes the grouped outline even when the main box stays the same. Measure that revised set and repeat the trial in the selected stock sample before copying the earlier packing instructions.

What should I send JINYU after the side-gusset trial?

Send JINYU, Shaanxi Jinyu Kitchenware Co., Ltd. (陕西金宇厨具有限公司), the packed dimensions, contents weight, stock codes and variants tested. Attach empty-side, loaded-side, overhead and gathered-handle photographs. Include the selected box orientation and loading order so the inquiry describes a complete arrangement.

Name each issue by location and movement. Ask the reply to identify the offered stock reference, outside dimensions and available colour or print for the requested quantity and destination. Compare that description with the sample label and keep any proposed substitute on its own line.

If a different stock size is offered, repeat the same packing sequence in that sample. Keep the accepted sample label with the final packing photographs. Staff can then match the stock reference, contents list and orientation at the counter, while a later inquiry has a clear starting point when the gift set or available stock changes.
