Buyer planning guide

How should I compare pizza ingredient counters for two assembly positions?

Compare pizza ingredient counter dimensions with two assembly areas, shared topping reaches and paired order sequences in a full-size station layout trial.

Does a wider ingredient counter give two people enough workspace?

Start with a plan that gives each person a separate place to assemble a pizza at the same time. Draw the two boards or trays at their actual size, then add the ingredient counter, supporting table and oven approach. This makes the assembly space visible before you compare counter widths.

The published JINYU dimensions are 955 W x 404 D x 450 H mm for JY-PZ955, with three pan positions, and 1655 W x 404 D x 450 H mm for JY-PZ1655, with seven. Plot each footprint on a separate version of the same plan. Keep the supporting surface and both assembly positions in view.

For each version, trace the reach from each board to the proposed ingredients. Pay particular attention to toppings both people use and those at the ends of the row. A useful comparison shows where the counter sits, how the two assembly areas fit beside it and which ingredients each person can reach from their position.

How should I divide the menu between the two working positions?

Choose a few representative orders and write their ingredient sequence beside the plan. Include two pizzas that share several toppings, plus an order using an ingredient near the end of the row. Give every ingredient a proposed pan position so you can follow each order from the first topping to the last.

Begin with both people assembling separate pizzas. Work through two orders together, marking when they reach for the same ingredient and whether either reach crosses the other board. Then change the order pairing. This helps reveal overlaps that appear only when particular pizzas are assembled together.

Move the ingredient labels and repeat the same sequences. You might place a shared topping between the two positions or move an ingredient closer to the board where it appears most often in your examples. Keep notes on the reason for each change. The resulting ingredient map gives the supplier a clear picture of how you want the two positions to work together.

What can I learn from a full-size layout trial before ordering?

Lay out the candidate station at full size on a suitable surface. Use tape to mark the ingredient counter's published width and depth, then outline both pizza assembly areas and the surrounding equipment. Put your actual boards or trays in place and use labels to represent the ingredient positions.

Have two people walk through the paired orders from your menu exercise. Start both pizzas, follow their topping sequences and move the completed boards to the proposed handoff point. Watch the shared reaches as well as the space around each board. Record exactly where an arm crosses the neighbouring assembly area or a board needs to move to let someone reach an ingredient.

Revise the labels or board positions and repeat the same pair of orders. Photograph each arrangement and mark the changes on the plan. For features a taped outline cannot represent, including height and the glass screen, request views of the proposed model and use them to refine the trial.

How do I include replenishment without blocking the other operator?

Add the ingredient supply route to the same drawing as the two assembly positions. Mark where replacement containers wait, how they enter the station and where they can be set down. Include a place for an empty container so the plan accounts for both incoming and outgoing items.

Use empty containers to walk through that route while both assembly boards are occupied. Pick a point in the paired order sequence when the shared ingredients are in use. Follow the proposed supply movement and note whether a container crosses either board, occupies the handoff point or makes someone change position.

Try another available approach and compare it using the same order sequence. Keep the route that fits most clearly around the assembly areas on your drawing, with any unresolved crossing marked for supplier review. Use the existing pan and utensil removal guide for that separate access check. Here, keep the comparison centred on how replenishment passes through the space shared by the two assembly positions.

Which intermediate widths should I compare if the shortest and longest layouts do not fit?

Place the intermediate models on copies of your station plan: JY-PZ1130 has four pans at 1130 W x 404 D x 450 H mm; JY-PZ1305 has five at 1305 W x 404 D x 450 H mm; and JY-PZ1480 has six at 1480 W x 404 D x 450 H mm. Keep the two assembly boards drawn at the same size and location for the first comparison.

Reassign the menu ingredients for each pan count, then trace the same paired orders across each version. Compare shared reaches, ingredients at the ends of the row and the surrounding surface available for boards and completed orders. Ask the supplier for the proposed container arrangement and pan dimensions so you can make the ingredient map more precise.

If one version calls for moving an assembly board, show that change explicitly. Save the drawings together with short notes about the movements you observed. This lets you compare the whole station arrangement alongside its width and pan count.

What should I send with the two-person station inquiry?

Build the inquiry around one dimensioned station plan and identify the model shown on it. Label both pizza assembly positions, the ingredient map, supporting table, oven approach, completed-order handoff and replenishment route. Add photographs from the full-size trial and a short list of the shared reaches or crossing movements you want the supplier to examine.

Include the paired orders you used, with their topping sequences. These examples explain why a particular ingredient position matters and give the supplier something specific to review against the proposed arrangement. Request a configuration drawing showing the counter, container arrangement and relevant access views. List the pan dimensions and accessories you want confirmed, and identify any supporting table or storage separately.

Send the inquiry to JINYU, Shaanxi Jinyu Kitchenware Co., Ltd. (陕西金宇厨具有限公司), with the destination and site electrical information. When the proposed drawing arrives, record its model code and revision on your plan. Update the ingredient positions, then repeat the paired-order walkthrough against that version.
