Buyer planning guide
Pizza ingredient counter or sushi display: how do their footprints compare?
Compare the pan counts and dimensions of JINYU pizza ingredient counters and sushi displays. Use the listed widths, depths and heights to plan counter space, support and staff access.
Which pizza counter and sushi display sizes can I compare?
JINYU lists five pizza ingredient counters and four sushi displays. All dimensions below are width × depth × height. The pizza models are JY-PZ955 at 955 × 404 × 450 mm with three pans; JY-PZ1130 at 1130 × 404 × 450 mm with four pans; JY-PZ1305 at 1305 × 404 × 450 mm with five pans; JY-PZ1480 at 1480 × 404 × 450 mm with six pans; and JY-PZ1655 at 1655 × 404 × 450 mm with seven pans.
The sushi models are JY-SU1160 at 1160 × 420 × 315 mm with four pans; JY-SU1340 at 1340 × 420 × 315 mm with five pans; JY-SU1510 at 1510 × 420 × 315 mm with six pans; and JY-SU1690 at 1690 × 420 × 315 mm with seven pans. Label each cabinet outline on your counter plan with its full model code. Record installation allowances separately from these outside cabinet dimensions.
Does the same pan count mean the same cabinet width?
No. Compare models with the same listed pan count before deciding how much counter width each needs. The four-pan JY-SU1160 is 30 mm wider than the four-pan JY-PZ1130. With five pans, JY-SU1340 is 35 mm wider than JY-PZ1305. With six pans, JY-SU1510 is 30 mm wider than JY-PZ1480. The seven-pan JY-SU1690 is 35 mm wider than JY-PZ1655. There is no three-pan sushi model in the listed range to compare with JY-PZ955.
These differences help you compare layouts on a fixed counter, but they do not establish equal ingredient capacity. For each model on your shortlist, request the pan length, width, depth and arrangement, including dividers and other accessories. Seven pan positions tell you how many containers the cabinet holds; the count alone does not confirm that your existing pans will fit or how much each position can hold.
How do the depth and height change the counter layout?
All listed pizza ingredient counters are 404 mm deep and 450 mm high. All listed sushi displays are 420 mm deep and 315 mm high. The sushi cabinets are therefore 16 mm deeper and 135 mm lower, whichever listed widths you compare.
Use a plan view to compare depth and a side view to show height above the supporting counter. Mark the staff position, customer side, adjacent equipment and any overhead shelf. Measure your counter height, then add the cabinet height to see the overall height at your site. A lower cabinet may work with a particular sightline, but the outside height does not tell you the size or position of the access opening. Check the selected model's drawing to assess how staff will reach, load and view the contents in that setting.
What happens to frontage when I add one more pan?
Each step from three to seven pans in the pizza range adds 175 mm of cabinet width: 955, 1130, 1305, 1480 and 1655 mm. The sushi widths are 1160, 1340, 1510 and 1690 mm, with increases of 180, 170 and 180 mm. Use the two exact model codes when comparing an additional pan position, since the width increase is not the same throughout both ranges.
Moving from the four-pan to the seven-pan pizza model requires another 525 mm of counter width. The corresponding change in the sushi range requires 530 mm. On each layout, mark the space beside the cabinet for handling ingredients, utensils and setting down trays. Discuss the pan arrangement with the staff who will use it. The pan count helps narrow the choice; the counter plan shows how much space remains for preparation and replenishment.
Can either cabinet provide the complete preparation workstation?
The pizza series is listed as a chilled ingredient counter, and the sushi series as a refrigerated display. Their dimensions describe the cabinets. Specify a supporting table, cutting surface or refrigerated storage beneath them separately. Begin your workstation plan with the cabinet you are requesting, then add the surfaces and storage your workflow needs.
Measure the usable support surface and mark any trim, raised edges or cable openings. Send this plan with your shortlist and request the selected cabinet's weight, support requirements, connection positions and ventilation information. Show where staff will replenish ingredients and set down containers they have removed. If you are also considering a salad preparation counter, compare its own model documents. The pizza and sushi cabinet dimensions do not establish the size or layout of equipment in another family.
How do I check pans and access before choosing between the ranges?
Record the outside dimensions and depth of the containers you use. Include lids and any handles that affect lifting. Check those measurements against the proposed pan layout, access opening and included accessories for each model. If you want to reuse existing pans, include photographs and clearly identified measurements in your brief.
Next, follow a replenishment task from ingredient storage to the counter. Mark where staff approach, where they set containers down and how they remove and replace a pan. Review that sequence against the cabinet drawing or during an inspection using representative containers. Keep your findings attached to the full model code. Equal pan counts or similar cabinet widths do not establish that accessories are interchangeable. Request operating instructions for the chosen arrangement together with its installation information so you can review both before making your selection.
What should I send in a pizza counter or sushi display inquiry?
Send the model codes on your shortlist, available support dimensions, measured counter height and a plan of adjacent equipment. Include ingredient positions, container measurements, the staff approach and intended loading direction. Identify which workstation components are already installed and which need to be supplied separately. Add your site electrical supply details and delivery destination so the proposal can identify the required configuration.
Use the model tables in JINYU's restaurant kitchen category for the comparison. The separate pizza ingredient counter and sushi display sizing guides offer further questions for each range. Ask for the response to identify the selected cabinet, pan arrangement and drawing revision, all tied to the same layout. JINYU's legal entity is Shaanxi Jinyu Kitchenware Co., Ltd. (陕西金宇厨具有限公司). Submit your brief through the inquiry page with photographs showing the staff side and supporting counter.
